It has a strong taproot that penetrates deeply into the soil as well as the abilty to trail over the soil surface and develop roots at the nodes.
Leaves are trifoliate and variable in size. Flowers are like Glycine clandestine and form over a long period including Spring to Autumn.
As can be seen in this photo Glycine is often found climbing up stems of grass.
